Painting is my way of seeing life
I am a visual artist who loves color and plastic language. Have been painting since I was little, attended the Art College and I have a degree in fine arts, graduating from the Faculty of Fine and Decorative Arts in Constanta, Romania.
As Art has been defined as a vehicle for the expression or communication of emotions and ideas, a means for exploring and appreciating formal elements for their own sake, and as mimesis or representation. So I love to paint abstract and expressionist paintings because it helps me better express my emotions and my thoughts.
Loredana Culea takes up the theme of flight over the course of several years. The wing as a pretext for developing lines in an expressionist way that transcends the senses. Quite unique and rare approach to this topic is aided by studies in nature on stuffed or dead birds where wings and feathers are studied in detail.
How do I describe my Art?
Try to be concise, straightforward, and as clear as I can. A good rule of thumb is to avoid using too many complex words to describe art, and stick to what I know. I like using certain words to describe art like colors, shapes, and patterns.
Loredana Culea has a MDG in Art Antopology and is also a Member of Romanian Union of Professional Artists UAP.
